Chicken Salad Chick is great...im basic...I like the classic Carrol

I like making my own. I just looked up Maui Mamas recipe.

HEB's chicken salad is surprisingly good - especially their Tarragon Pecan, but the best the area (aside from my wife's...) is at Chicken Salad Chick.

Victoriarakhl : Chicken Salad Chicks is good but pricey. IMO, Chelsea's Deli has the best chicken salad and it is economical and a local business. Since you're new to the area, have you tried Chelsea's? If not, go in with an open mind, as it isn't fancy or updated but the food is great.

Hands down Chelsea's for me. I've never liked any I made myself and I'm a good cook some say. May just be they want me to keep cooking. I usually just get the one main and 2 sides. Makes 2 meals for me. For the sides my favorite is just the cut up fruit. During the week they have a baked potato (till they run out) for I think $2.09. It's also an easy 2servings. They have delicious French bread also. Now I want Chelsea's chicken salad.

HEB's roast turkey and cranberry; hard to tell it's not chicken. The regular H-E-B chicken salad is good too, and you can buy a small little lunch kit pack near the prepared food area so that you can give it a try! They come in little packages like this that make great snacks or lunch. I add sliced apples, olives, and some hummus for my own mini-cuterie! You can find them near where all the pre-prepared meals are at H-E-B

Chelsea's Deli is know for there chicken salad.. If you go in on any give day people are buying it by the gallon !!! I get it for family gatherings or trips.. I also love Chicken Salad Chicks Jalapeno Holly chicken salad..

Fireba11 : Same here, I make my own Chicken Salad. Rotisserie chicken, canned Costco chicken, and home cooked chicken breast all make great chicken salad. I like Craft mayo, onion, celery, garlic, and pepper in mine. I sometimes add a jalapeno for when I want it to have a little kick. It travels well in an ice chest. I like to take it with us on car trips. It's great for when we don't feel like eating out on trips. Eating out gets old fast!
