Woodlands/Hotel/Concert - Questions...
So my sweet husband bought me 4 tickets to the Lainey Wilson concert at Cynthia Woodlands Theatre for myself and 3 of my friends for my Birthday. We will be staying at the Embassy Suites at Hughes Landing.... I am not terribly familiar with the area...
Questions are where would be a good fun place for us to eat and drink before the concert and what is the best way to get to the concert from Hughes Landing area?? I am not sure we want to walk as we may be in uncomfortable shoes.. plus the heat.... Looking for fun suggestions...

Check and see if the Hotel has shuttle service.
Uber is always an option.
Definitely drive together as parking is $22. a day.

There are quite a few good spots, within walking distance! We like Tommy Bahama. and Hearsay. If you want to take a quick Uber or Lyft, go to Back Table and Kitchen. Be sure to make a reservation. I love going to concerts there; we always choose the lawn, bring our quilts and dance and enjoy. Have fun!! The hotels no longer have shuttles, for the most part. I enjoy the ES night time 'reception' for guests with wine and beer, and the good breakfast, that is included with the price. Let them know you are celebrating, before you get there!

Xalisco- worth any difficulty to get there. Everything I had exceeded my expectations. If not for before the concert, before you come home.

There is a free trolley that passes many restaurants.

I'm too lazy to look it up right now, but Del Frisco is really good. Not sure how close it is to your hotel, but it's a fun place to people watch and enjoy great food.

Sixty Vines (Market Street) is also very good.
Cheesecake Factory has something for everyone - same with Goose's Acre (nice view on the Waterway).
Spanish Flowers now has a Woodlands location.
Republic Grille is yummy.
So many great choices!

Cheesecake Factory has something for everyone - same with Goose's Acre (nice view on the Waterway). Spanish Flowers now has a Woodlands location. Republic Grille is yummy. So many great choices!

you all can go shopping, go eat at Mezze ( so much fun, and great food!) nearby, or the Adriatic Cafe just built nearby; their lunch specials are amazing; we like their pasta trio! More Birthday, more fun, and more relaxing, sounds very good for you all!

Cheesecake factory has many options. If you drive and park, at end of lake Robbins drive at grogans mill is a parking lot and has a shuttle from there to pavillion, or you can walk the couple of blocks.
