New restaurant coming to KW A new breakfast and lunch spot is on its way to Kingwood. Keke's Breakfast Cafe, a popular chain known for its hearty omelets, specialty waffles, and casual café atmosphere, will soon open its doors in Kingwood Commons at 716 Kingwood Drive, in the former Zachary's Cajun Café location. The restaurant will occupy approximately 3,855 square feet and is currently under construction, with an anticipated opening in fall 2025. According to building plans, renovations began in mid-August and are expected to wrap up by the end of November. Founded in Florida in 2006 by brothers Keith and Kevin Mahen, Keke's has grown into a well-loved brand with locations across several states. In 2022, the concept was acquired by Denny's Corporation, which continues to expand Keke's as a distinct daytime dining brand focused on breakfast and lunch, separate from the traditional 24-hour diner model. The menu features generous portions of breakfast favorites such as stuffed French toast, Belgian waffles, and signature omelets, as well as a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and salads for lunch. The Kingwood opening is part of the company's broader push into Texas, with multiple locations planned for the Houston area.

StormChaser : I am down for another good breakfast joint. I still miss the old school days of Cliff's Hamburgers breakfasts! Back in the day there were the only place in KW that had full service breakfast 7 days a week and their biscuits and gravy were the best around!

All for filling empty spaces but worries about this and Trader Joe's impact especially in the morning.
