Let's talk community etiquette 
While it may be legal, is it rude for a lone bike rider to be taking his bony *** on a Sunday afternoon stroll down Kingwood drive? He was going maybe 15 mph with miles of empty sidewalk right in front of him and blocks of flustered cars behind him. Not sure if bike riding on sidewalk is permissible but dangit to hell it was COMPLETELY empty as far as the eye could see. I used my manners regardless. Side note - I was returning from HEB…….my gawd it was INSANE! And when the hundreds of future Apartment complexes get completed all around us it's only going to get worse. 😡😡. What we're seeing today is reflective of that massive complex a few miles down WLH Pkwy 😝 Rant over. Cracking open bottle of wine - relief cometh 😀🙌

Ruger5 : Legal bike riding on sidewalks varies. Not sure if it is cities or counties that decide, but yes, in some areas bikes on sidewalks are illegal.
mutton : I actually thought it might not be permissible here but tons of little motorized scooters have commandeered the sidewalks all summer long anyway. That's another annoyance. No helmets, way too fast, the littles weaving in & out of parking lots……makes me twitch just seeing it.
Ruger5 : Why I do NOT shop on weekends, unless under duress to do so. It is bonkers, and Worse, if near a holiday, weather event, etc. Your best bet: Tuesday, 9:15 am, any store, and it will be you, and Maybe 9 employees, with plenty of check outs open, for the other Seven shoppers :D

Ruger5 : I started using it during COVID and just continued. I haven't had any issues and find it much easier to shop for products and if a product has another product coupon attached it shows you what your options are. No going all around looking for the specific product. Sale add is so much easier to use too. I just recently got their CC and gives 5% back on their products. I didn't realize how much of their brand I use. You have the option to use your credit on the card or have a check mailed. I love adding items to my cart as I need them so less forgetting and less hungry shopping. If I need special steak DH will pick up since he is the steak man. Haven't been too disappointed on my meat either. I need the walking but it is so freaking convenient.

Ruger5 : So take it from a long time cyclist here in the hood….yes they SHOULD ride on the sidewalks imo, but they think it's very uncool. I however don't give a darn. I'd rather live to see another ride. LOL! But the hardcore cyclist would rather die than ride the sidewalks.
Smoothwaters : Thank you! HEB has pretty darn good meats - I usually buy Costco meats in bulk because I'm a huge carnivore. Cant get whole beef tenderloin from HEB but I will spend a small fortune on HEB's once yearly rib-roast sale. I serve these at Christmas (along with Honey Baked Ham) and a rib roast at Easter then keep one on hand for a special company occasion………..telling ya, unless I can get my lazy butt to HEB before 11:00 - the crowdedness is over the top annoying.
