Hippo Burger on Northpark

BinTX : Oh wow. So we are getting 2 new taco shops. This one and Fuzzys in the old Fuddrucker location.

cbear : LOL, That's what Kingwood eats, tacos and of course chicken!

I hope Hippo Burger has a chance to move to another location too, they were pretty good. I wasn't aware that KW was getting a second new taco shop, I hope they can be successful after all of the construction is completed.

That was fast! Joy, another taco spot. I think we are tied w tacos and chicken now

BinTX : They also closed their Crosby location. As far as I know, Atascocita (behind Culver's) is the only location still open in our general area. The last time we drove by the Humble location, it looked closed as well.

The reason for all the fast food places per WSJ is that 61% of Gen Z'rs get very anxious and stress about cooking or sauteelng anything and lack the skills to prepare food.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : What I think is odd is that for Texas to be a big cattle state, why do we eat so much chicken?!

cbear : Cholesterol, I'm sure is a huge factor. Chicken is a healthier source of protein.

cbear : I don't know!

cbear : That is a good question! I think maybe we eat more chicken cause it is very versatile and it is cheaper than beef. Also, we have been programed to think of beef as being bad for us and chicken is more heart healthy.

What KW needs is a place to get good fried fish and BBQ !

Oh no!! I hate that. I really liked their burgers and grilled chicken sandwich. I was just raving about it on here a few weeks ago.
