Imtiaz Restaurant & Grocery on Ford Rd - tonight I got takeout from Imtiaz, Pakistani halal place on Ford Rd. Very good, and huge portions! The guy in there is super nice. I decided to try the beef gyro wrap (delicious, lots of meat) and the chicken biryani dinner. The biryani was easily enough for two adults with big appetites. The flavors are INTENSE. I like Indian food, and this was comparable to the spiciest Indian dishes I've ever had. Not just heat, it's all the exotic flavors exploding in every bite. Impressed. Will get takeout there again. Hidden gem.

Annie : The gyro wrap was mild. I think their kebab dishes will be mild. They have chicken tikka which is usually mild, but I haven't tried theirs yet
My son wants to open a French diner. Le Diner. It would fail spectacularly here.

I'd be delighted for there to be something between La Madeline and Chez Nous. Chez Nous is fab but doesn't fit into my normal night out budget. La Mad is just... French imposter La Mad.
petronoluem : We sure do. What do you want to get should be about a only a handful of cuisines. I miss that from city life. Our children call and we might say Nigerian, or Afghan, or ....
