Oddly she was 5 ft from the window and my dogs going nuts didn't seem to phase her. She is welcome to eat at my flowerbed buffet anytime.

That reminds me of several years ago when I was walking to the little Kroger from our house in Woodstream and saw a little fawn like that one in the front yard grass by someone's front walk. All by itself. It looked at me, just a few yards from it, with wide eyes and a "Mama told me to stay right here and be very still but I don't know what to do now"" expression. I tippy-toed away. It was not there when I was returning from Kroger, carrying my grocery bags.

I think they look brighter because I was taking a picture through my window and it scattered the light some. They aren't actually that bright 😂
