It's unfortunate out her in KW - we don't get much services when it comes to repairs and mowing the medians. The city only mows them 1x a month and we are expected to take care of that ourselves.

I agree concrete. I know it's more costly, but it lasts longer imo and less prone to potholes.

Hotnhumid : Ane with school out for the summer, now would be the time to replace the panels that have been patched and repatched over and over. But if history is any indication, COH will wait until September to make any major repairs to our poorly maintained roads.

Anyone else remember small towns where many of their roads were mainly tar and gravel? Ouchies for sure during the summer redo!
Our oldest roads were brick. Main street was concrete part of the way.

Texasdad : we were all over Houston today - when we were around woodway/voss/memorial/hunter's creek village (super expensive part of town) - the road was sooo perfect, concrete, and smooth - and cops were patrolling everywhere. Then we were at hillcroft and bellaire (definitely lower income part of town) and the roads were awful! That is when my kiddo piped up "these roads feel like Kingwood!". 😒
