A number one rule should be don't talk crap about a customer in public. I overheard the waiter (Curt) go up to another employee after I paid and say something along the lines of "it is always the ones who ask for discounts that don't tip" I don't care how much tip was originally left, that public remark was so rude and unprofessional. (A tip was left to him.) The discount he is referring to was me inquiring about a military discount. Sadly that experience alone will probably prevent me from returning.
Tiffyd789 : I always wanted to eat there but never tried it but that was just rude to comment especially around customers. I heard their food was really good but when I do go to The Woodlands., it's mainly for the Cheesecake Factory and stroll market street and the mall @ times. I used to work in the Woodlands and frequently local restaurants. I miss that but I wouldn't put up with shaming on anyone in general. If I do go, I'll request that I don't get Curt. I tip well enough but I don't blame you for taking offense to his verbal rant.

Tiffyd789 : Restaurants offer discounts. There is nothing wrong with asking about them. There is a lot wrong with a waiter bashing a customer.
Tiffyd789 : lol oh honey don't ever go to a hospital then- the stuff I heard and saw when hubs was in recovery ( about patients- even hubs, the doctors, other staff, future patients- EVERYONE) would freak you out. I know enough medical code to know. If you are in public people are going to talk š¤£š¤£

As a former waitress, we talked about every table. Good tippers, bad tippers, people with complicated orders, people who drank to much, people who ordered ice water and extra lemons and made their own lemonade, people who ordered well done steaks, people who wanted extra extra extra free bread, people who wanted split checks, people who ordered decaf coffee...
