Rosemont Assisted Living in Kingwood is wanting to do a car show on Father's Day weekend if anyone would be interested. Saw this on another site and thought maybe some of you would be interested in participating. I think you need to speak with Malinda.

Me and my sister have been looking into assisted living places in this area for our parents. This was one of the affordable ones that came up, and I was considering scheduling a tour.

lcoupert : Nothing about what I said is over exaggerated. It is exactly what happened. That rather flippant response is exactly my point. What happened, and this remark, both hit vastly different when you're on the other side of the situation and your family members are involved.

They really should concentrate their efforts on their patients/residents. I've told the story a couple of times about my MIL who was there until she passed. No one noticed…and my BIL came in for a visit. He had to inform THEM that she was gone. I will never ever forget nor forgive them for that.

lcoupert : I can understand that could happen but I can also understand the family being upset no one there knew. My Mil got to a KW nursing home in the evening for rehab and died the next morning. She wasn't even there a full day. I hate that nursing home but I will not name them. It's a nursing home and lots of people die in them.
