Putting it out there - just in case.

Putting it out there - just in case.

I have seen 1 or 2 models this evening that show the majority of the snow missing Houston to the south, staying offshore, and nailing SW Louisiana instead.

This scenario would likely give Houston under an inch of snow.

These are only a couple of models out of MANY - so that possibility is in the minority - but there is still enough wiggle room in this forecast to put out there that this forecast still might still bust.

We really won't know until it starts & happens.

I know everyone wants snow but only time will tell. ⏰👀

Nothing about this "storm" surprises me, haha.

StormChaser : Not me. The poor first responders are way over worked because the highways become a huge bump car arena. You slide to the right, slip to the left and side swipe many a guard rail on your way anywhere.

Txbutterfly :
I agree with the ice. I would be good with a small amount of snow. I like cold but I want it above freezing. Our houses just were not made for this weather.

StormChaser: I might be the only one on KDC but I do not want snow. Been there, done that and don't care to go again…

Thank you as always stormchaser. I regularly check for your posts in inclement weather and it always guides me the right way. One day I'll buy you a beer (or coffee/tea if that's more your speed).

I so agree! Snow is beautiful but is not a welcome guest. Neither are freezing temperatures. I miss sunshine!

Sorry guys!

StormChaser : No reason to be sorry. You can only report the weather. No control over it. I would be fine if it would stop now.

Many Houstonites never see snow accumulation their entire lives. How sad

Jonn : I didn't see snow until 2004 when we had it here! I was 22 years old! My sister and I, who was 26 at the time, had the time of our lives! It was like we were 10 years old again! ☃️
