COH Debris Pickup

jrjtex : I called mine in and it is gone. They told me they will come by 3 times over the next few weeks. I have more to be put out so I hope this is true.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA jrjtex :
Would they not collect all surrounding debris located around the address?

Good luck in calling it in. I'm sure by now, the line will be constantly busy.
The debris is everywhere so why do we have to call in - all they have to do is drive down each street.

eighteen :
You would think, remember it's COH...
Baby steps, baby steps...

Gigix4 :
Remember, it's COH.

jrjtex : Oh yow ... then there's that!

Don't forget, they're still doing debris drop-off at Lindsay Lyons; 7am-7pm.

eighteen : I had the same thought.I just called. Only a 2 minute hold time to get connected.

jrjtex :
I sent the 311 case number to Flickinger's office so they can follow up. Everyone might want to do the same.
This is the response I received:
Good afternoon,
Thank you for contacting the District E office. I have added your address to our list to ensure timely debris pickup. Solid Waste should begin collecting debris this week or next. Please remember not to place storm debris in trash bags; instead, kindly place it directly on the side of the street for pickup.
For any additional questions, please contact 311@houstontx.gov.
Thank you for your cooperation. Best regards,

jrjtex :
What a joke. I just tried to call. So many numbers to push and I ended up with a buzzing noise.Annie :
Did you push the first option?

I'm trying a different way: I've sent 311 an email in hopes it works as well as calling.

muffy :
Just push 0 and connect to an operator.

CaffeineFree : Muffy That is correct - option 0.

eighteen :
Sounds VERY STUPID

CaffeineFree :
Ha..good one !
