Store clerk shot and killed in Humble.

mellen :
All for a bag of chips??? Life truly has no value to some criminals. There may be more to the story - perhaps a repeat offender????

Some lowlifes were stealing chips and the clerk chased them and they shot and killed him. Happened at 59 and Will Clayton.

Over an attempted theft of a bag of chips....If I were the clerk no way I'm following them.....If they were headed out the door with a bag of chips I'd be more inclined to yell "Hey, a case of beer may go good with those chips!".....

mellen :
so sad; over inexpensive items. this is why so many businesses these days, are telling their employees Not to engage, not matter what the amount being stolen. Giving in to felons. Not good. My prayers for his family.

Kittle :
can guarantee you these felons were...Felons, and have a sheet as long as your dining table. They are on camera, so that will help capture them. Should be a denied bond, but...

mellen : I can't believe that that Clerk jumped in his own car and chased them in their car. He did not deserve this. I hope they catch these three.

mellen : This is awful! Prayers for the clerk and their family. Also, praying the POS who shot the clerk is caught.

How did the dead guy wind up in a car?

Yes, retail employees are told to let them have it. Sad for this guy and prayers for his family.
