Gas Leak in Sandcreek : I have read on other sites that Comcast hit a major gas line in SandCreek and they're still working to fix it off. They've been working to fix it since 130. Apparently the smell is very strong. I hope they get it fixed soon
goldie : Yep. It's at Deerwood Elementary. All emergency vehicles were there but boy is that smell strong!

goldie : It is sad Comcast is causing so much damage. Our infrastructure is all patched up and is getting worse!

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : USCI is supposed to clear the area first. Sometimes they do, sometimes they dont. Nothing is going to happen until there is a major accident. Scary.

I think it is way past the point of ignoring all these leaks. Sure not every gas line is going to be marked correctly but the potential for a horrible accident is there. Someone needs their feet held to the fire and act responsibly. The COH? County?
sellbuy : As totally annoying as this all is, the problem is with the info they have to use to guide them when they dig. It's OLD and not very accurate so to some degree they are flying blind. They have a general idea but obviously there's plenty of room for error. 😩

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : I was smelling gas in the house. I checked all the places where gas could be leaking so it must have from out side. Brought the carbon monoxide monitor and it was all good.

goldie : This gas leak has been repaired. Deerwood elementary will hold classes. They are airing out the building since it still smells.
Wiseowl : I saw several firetrucks at Deerwood this morning so I wasn't sure if the leak was fixed. I'm glad to hear that it has been fixed
