They warned of this because of the repeated 100 degree days the grid can't handle it we keep our thermastat at 82 until 10 pm
klenek : The grid is fine. There haven't been any grid-related outages since the winter storm of 2021.

cbear : It went off at 6 a.m. and came back on around 2 in the afternoon. I connected and ran my generator from 7 on so it wasn't a big deal for us.

cbear : Yes - a transformer blew. Knocked out 18 customers. Just our side of the street. Centerpoint had to find it, and they replaced it and got us back up and running. This discussion has been locked.
