Again! Another serious wreck at 494 and Hamblen! This time resulted in an overturned vehicle in very bad condition. From the positioning of the vehicles, it looked like someone pulled out from the stop sign heading east onto Hamblen and was hit by someone traveling on the feeder/494. A very serious accident. I do not know how anyone could live through it with the damage to that car! I hope I am wrong, but the car was on its top and smashed very flat. And again, I say, they need a different traffic configuration and a traffic light there! This was at about 10:30 this morning so lack of visibility should not have played a factor.

I wonder why they haven't put a light in there yet. So many accidents there.

Happyface: People just need to put down their telephones and pay attention to their driving.

gigem09 : They ran all the electrical and poured the pole mounts a couple weeks ago.

Theoldman : So true! Also today I was driving down North Park and there was a small, older, burnt orange colored car, not sure of make and model but was being driven by someone that was obviously impaired! Weaving and braking and going REALLY slow! I tapped my horn at him when passing because he had started sliding into my lane, he had his widows down, honked back and yelled Whaaaat? ...so obviously drunk! I've never been happier to get around and away from someone on the road! It was the middle of the day! WTH?

Happyface : Or possibly really low bloodsugar.
