Hey Ruger5 They adjusted the hurricane forecast numbers slightly higher than before. ****NO this is nothing to panic over and is common. I just know Ruger5 will get a kick out of it. 😜 BREAKING NEWS: Hurricane experts at Colorado State University have increased their numbers on tropical cyclone activity in the Atlantic Basin this hurricane season, which began Thursday.

You only have to be correct 10% of the time to be doing a top-notch job.
At any rate I'm happy as a clam to be watching from afar. I still think

Ruger5 : No gut feelings here, but I will say this: Galveston/Houston averages a category 3, 4, or 5 landfall every 25 years. Its been 40. (Hurricane Alicia; Aug 1983) Ike was a category 2 at landfall & Harvey made landfall in Rockport. At some point, it's going to be our turn. We have been incredibly lucky the last few years (especially 2020) with so many major storms just to our east into Louisiana. (or to our south into South Texas) There's no reason to panic but it is the reason everyone needs to stay prepared. Texas also has a lot of new residents who have never experienced a hurricane, and they will be panic buying. Pray for the best but prepare for the worst.
