2nd Dickey's BBQ Opening In Kingwood

Kingwood is getting another Dickey's BBQ restaurant. Quick tip-o-the-cap to 
mtk4343 for bringing this to my attention yesterday. Â 
 After reading it, I set out to investigate a little more. As most of you know, this will make the second location here in Kingwood (the other is at 532 Kingwood Dr). Oh, and speaking of the other location, I stopped in there yesterday to ask about the new one coming...The owner is none too happy about it to say the least. 
 Anyway, I grabbed some turkey and sausage and headed over to Northpark. The new Dickey's Barbecue Pit will reside where the old Church's Chicken was. For those that don't know, it's the far east building in the mini-strip center at Russel Palmer & Northpark Dr.It will be owned and ran by the same people that have the gas station at the opposite end of the shopping center. They didn't have much to share about it, but promised to update me as soon as they had a date for their opening. I'll get back to y'all with more details as soon as I hear from them. ~C 4951

That gas station is nasty so I wouldn't think it would be a clean place. Ick!
aggiebutterfly: I haven't been in there in a long time did it really get nasty? I remember when they tore down the old gas station there on Russell Palmer. 4951
