Just went grocery shopping at the new Kroger and was there for 3 hours! Love the new store but can't believe I was there so long. How long has everyone else spent there? 4951

Yea I thought it wasn't possible but it didnt even seem like we were there very long. We are staying with my parents while we look for a house so me and my mom went grocery shopping and the men were gone golfing so we had to take my 6 yr old with us. So it was grocery shopping for a house of 6 and a 6 yr old in tow lol 4951

Haven't been in there yet.  It's way too far to go just for groceries, when Randalls and HEB are just down the street.  I am curious though!

@SandyKnee:

They have a lot of good sales right now, and if they're out of what you want that's on sale they will give you a rain check to come back and get it at the same price. I'm def going back for the 49 cent boxes of hot chocolate 4951

I walked in to grocery shop one day, but it was so crowded I walked right back out!  Maybe once the newness wears off I'll try again.  Emoticon 4951

We went opening weekend and was not crowded due to the fact it is such a roomy store. In and out in 40 minutes. 4951

@Irispixies: Did yours like the samples as much as mine did?She just didn't understand you had to only pick flavor of ice cream. It is her new favorite store though

I was very disappointed. Sure it's big but the selection is very poor. The meat department seemed to have less of a selection than the Kroger over by WLH. Not only that but the prices also seemed higher than the smaller Krogers. The furniture dept is nice but why do you have to walk all the way into the furniture dept to get a gallon of milk? I don't think the layout is customer friendly at all. Then again, they probably did that on purpose like Costco does. 4951
