Hey everyone, I started a group on Facebook for people who want to get out and ride at least once a week. We are probably going to ride out from Creekwood middle school on Friday evenings and do ~20 mile ride. This past week we rode out to ZZ Gators in forest cove had a pizza and a beer and then rode back towards home.If this sounds like fun to you it's an open group feel free to join. We are very casual, I promise we don't own expensive racing bikes and we are not going to leave you behind.https://www.facebook.com/groups/243307405825321/ 4951
Are kids allowed? By that I mean my 2 year old in her seat or trailer.. We ALMOST went to Critical Mass once but once I looked at the FB page, decided against it. 4951

@mrsames77: yes. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these rogues. 4951
Can people with expensive bikes still join???? Will you obey all traffic laws? See Vee is right about the Critical Mass. As a devoted cyclist I totally disagree with their tatics. Th Stagbucks group doesn't really have a name- some of them came from the Kingwood Clippers some from the Red Tide some from the Posanos. The head down and meet up withe the Bike Barn group. The Bike Barn group has a lot of different riding abilities- but if you want to hang with the Starbucks group plan on being able to average 25-30 mph. Dh and I might be interested in doing some social rides. I'm injured right now and dh is still rehabbing knees. I ride in Duessen and Eisenhower a lot- very pretty Ummm maybe never mind- I'm not real interested in the Critical Mass thing. Dh and I try to promote interest in cycling friendly and obeying all the laws. Too bad- the social aspect sounded nice 4951
Wth? Glad I read this post all the way through. Sounds like a bad group to ride with. Thanks for mentioning Bike Barn, I'll tell my hubs about that. 4951
