I was asking our realtor about the covenants and deed restrictions for the HOA. She emailed a link for the HOA covenants and we are to pay 175.00 for the covenants???? Really? I'm confused, wouldn't a new homeowner automatically receive the covenants and deed restrictions. When are the dues actually due? do you know? I've never heard of such. Enlighten me....".anyone, anyone...beuller beuller" 4951

Uh never mind...it was totally an "operator error" on my part to have not truly read the fine fine fine print on the contract. Now I know.  4951

Yes, as far as I know we are paid up until the end of the year and then we receive a bill early in the new year.  4951

I don't understand....What if we had wanted to see the covenants and deeds during our option pending time?  And why should we, the buyer,be responsible for proving that the sellers are current on their dues? Why should we be out of 175.00 for something that we should be able to look at before buying into any neighborhood? that's 175 bucks that cuts into my facelift fund...or butt lift....or happy homegoods pretty. It's just principle kwim? And pool? I don't think we have a community pool in Woodstream. I assume we could use the pool in any village? Hep me hep...perhaps the suthun vapuhs have left me rather brain dead. 4951

You can ask your realtor to get you a copy of it. As far as the pool, we do have one. It's on Woodstream Village Dr.  You must obtain a pool pass after you close from the HOA. 4951

@Ally I love the picture of your dog.  Is it a GSD/heeler mix?  4951

I've much to learn about Woodstream village Emoticon I  didn't know you could even get into this neighborhood apart from turning down dogwood and then right on windsong. We drove by the house on Monday and I think we went down every street. I saw only one way in and one way out. I've always lived in an HOA community and I understand that these dues keep up the entrances, pool, common areas etc etc. 4951

We had to pay our HOA money to write down our new lenders name when we refinanced our home.   Yeah, big racket in my opinion.   I think between the HOA and the company they use to process the paperwork for them it was over 300.00 4951

@Ally   I drove through the front entrance of Woodstream and found the house. It's much easier for us to get to the house going the back way. But I'm glad to see the front of the neighborhood looking so very nice! 4951

@cgm10sne1: Yes, it's pretty and you can see the pool as soon as you come in. Call the HOA when you close and they will
mail you a pool pass. 4951
