@FallonI just have got to say, I lurve me some HEB. They have stuff over there that you can't get anywhere else. I love that store!! I would endure bad parking or whatever just to go over there and peruse the aisles. Though I did get spooked by a 40-something stoner who took a liking to me in there one time. Here's what's good: Haloumi cheese - it's very expensive, but you slice it up like steak fries and then just brown it in a hot dry skillet, or in a little olive oil and fresh garlic. It is SO good. It's chewy, doesn't melt because it's "grilling cheese". I discovered this at a Mediterranean restaurant in my home town. The owner told me what it was and how to cook it.Another good thing you can get at HEB and nowhere else: pork roll. This sounds bad, but is in fact awesome. It's shaped like a jimmy dean sausage roll, but the meat is a much denser, finer texture of meat, similar to hard salami, but finer. Very flavorful and good. You slice it thin and fry it up crispy. Uh-mazing. 4951
