@Fofa at the end of Gulf War I the coalition agreed not to go into Bagdad and kick their arses back into the stone age if they agreed to a no fly zone and weapns inspections. Saddam continues to fly in the no fly zones and kept the UN Weapons inspectors out of Iraq. After 911 when 3000 Americans were murdered by muslim terrorists I think we had a short fuse with Iraq. Between WMD's, their refusal for weapon's inspection and disregards for the no fly zone we went to war. As for Afghanistan. What a waste of good men and national treasure. 4951
I think the opposite is true. He's being criticized for dragging his feet when it comes to Syria. Among his chief critics on this issue is John McCain. Some of these "news" sources that are out there now on the Internet aren't very credible. There was a time when editorial boards screened content of news for accuracy. Now anyone can call themselves a "journalist" and post anything. 4951

@TexINS: What? There was never any WMDs the second time around. He resisted weapons inspectors for the same reason the conservatives in the US resist UN treaties -- who wants to limit their sovereign owers? Moreover, if he agrees to them he seems weak to his own people. I don't blame him for resisting weapons inspectors either way -- Isreal has them, and they resist weapons inspectors. We were lied to the first time around George HW, and we were lied to the second time around with George W. Both were significantly bigger scandals than anything you talk about. 4951
@EvanCarroll First gulf war was because Iraq invaded Kuwait. We kicked their **** and we accepted their surrender and to not go into to Bagdad if they accepted our rules of no fly zones and weapon inspections. Again you seem to leave out information to make your argument.Again, neither Bush is in the White House. It is thug Obama. 4951

@TexINS: Sadam asked the US if they could invade Kuwait, the US (Glaspie) responded, "“we took no position on these Arab affairs.” We only know about this thanks to Wikileaks -- which Obama is dead set on killing off. After the United States OKed Sadam's war with Kuwait (and expressed it was "friendship" offering), we had our ducks in a row to lie to the US public and create a demand for war.
^ Staged by the US government. And, why did we go to War with Iraq the first time? Not just oil -- though that was a huge part of it. But, the Patriot Missile Co., Raytheonhttp://www.worldpolicy.org/projects/arms/reports/TiesThatBind.htmlAgain, my problem isn't that you want to see Obama killed, or dead from a violent death. It's that other more egregiously corrupt Republicans don't face the same scrutiny. It's only an issue with these partisan conservative hacks when Democrats follow in their footsteps after they lose an election. 4951
Actually what Evan posted about the USA not taking a stand on Iraq invading Kuwait is before they did, seems to be the real case.Only after half the rest of the world came back with WTF! and the USA population did they come back with opsie! But I am not seeing the justification for the second time.If we invaded everyone who didn't follow UN treaties, we would be in so many countries today. 4951
Here we go:http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-250_162-57589252/u.s.-syria-used-chemical-weapons-crossing-red-line/Hey I wonder if the gas Syria is using is from Iraq's wmd's?So we are going to arm the rebels who are friends with Al Qaeda? Perfect.http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2013/04/11/syria-al-qaeda-connection/2075323/Prediction, OBama slowly gets us involved in this battle so that we have troops on the ground close to mid-term elections. His hope that it further escalates to give him a reason to ratify the constitution for a 3rd term. 4951
