We have lost Our Yorkie We put Signs up all over Sherwood trails and Elm grove. Some one has tore almost all the signs down in Sherwood trails. We are not sure why someone would do this. Does any one have any idea why or who would do this? It really breaking our hearts we just want our dog back!!We have Lost our Yorkie she got out when a friend was watching her. She
is black and gold with a under bite. Her Name is Kyla, she is very
timid. Someone saw her by the Greenbelts/Frierwood. In the back of
Sherwood trails. We don't live to far from Elm grove and trails can lead
towards there. So please keep an eye out for her there too. If you have
seen her or have found her please contact us

Maybe some one found her & wants to keep her? Maybe the HOA people take them down?

Either way I'm so sorry, & I will be walking dogs on the green belt & I'll keep an eye out. Maybe post some signs on the greenbelt near the entrances & near any paths school kids walk. Mention a reward & that may help! 4951

How long have the signs been posted. I take the signs down around our neighborhood if they have been up for over a month. After that they get weathered and look nasty. 4951

Sorry for your loss.  It is against HOA rules to post signs along streets, in parks, and even in your own yard.  Most people are understanding about a lost pet and leave those signs, at least for a while.Like @TexINS, once signs look bad, I will remove them in my area. 4951

There are no silly rules about putting a sign on your car. I wouldn't put a phone number on a car sign, though. I'd create a free email address that's super easy to remember like "findmyyorkie@...." . That will keep crazy drivers from calling you about road matters and having the easy email, people don't have to stop and write down a number. Your sign goes all around Kingwood... grocery stores, schools, restaurants, and in your driveway. Put it on the back window where it doesn't obstruct your vision and make it simple: Very few words with nice, easy-to-read block letters. You want someone driving behind you to read it quickly and remember the email address. Best of all, no one will pull it down. Maybe your friends would be willing to put a sign in the car window for a few days. It works!!! 4951

My SIL ( the evil woman you all speak about when calling or dealing with Anything regulating KW associations or deed restrictions) told me when asked if we could put signs up told me that the ordinances state NO signs and the city will tear them down and you can get fined ( since you phone number is on it wouldn't be hard to find out who put them up) yeah, I would still put a nice looking one up about your dog, just be careful and you might remove it in 2 weeks maybe to a diff local 4951
