The mrs. Has us using dr. Bronners or Kirks bar soap. She makes body wash with dr.
Bronners bar soap . You can use them just as they are though for bathing. Kirk's is at Walmart 1.50 for 3 bars on the bar soap isle. Dr. Bronners is on amazon. The only diff. Is that bronners thickens and kirks does not when she is Making stuff. For use as a bar soap they are both good all natural Castille soaps without all the bad stuff.
Also laundry detergent even the free and clear is not good. Since the mrs. Started making our's we have seen a difference and saved money.
Buy a 14oz zote bar on the powdered laundry isle at Walmart. On the same isle buy arm and hammer washing soda (diff than baking) and 20 mule borax. One bar grated zote mixed with three cups washing soda and three cup borax. Use one tablespoon per load as your detergent. You can use two for huge or really dirty loads but this mix is powerful and does not take as much as regular detergents.
For hair she buys "yes to carrots " shampoo and conditioner. She gets it from amazon but Walmart carries it in a small section of organic cosmetics with Burt's bees stuff ( somewhere near makeup not with other shampoos). She says it is 8 bucks for a huge bottle like 26 ounces or so. Says it is the best deal for good non chemical hair stuff.
Well Internet is out and so I am typing this on a phone while she is telling it to me so that is all I can handle for now.
