I would like to think I have the integrity to turn it in. But who really knows until faced with that situation. 4951

My DH found a $20 bill in a parking lot the other day. He kept it. Is that the same? Not sure? 4951

I heard about this, or maybe other stories on the Rod Ryan Show.  I think I'd turn it in, but if I found it in Vegas, I'd probably make some bad decisions. 4951

@N+T:

its like this, I wouldn't mind losing $20 and buying a family of 4 dinner at McDonald's but I'd hate to lose enough money to buy them a house and 2 reasonably priced cars. 4951

if I found it I'd keep it. if I lost it I'd be **** and want it back but wouldn't expect it to come back. if it was returned to me I'd give up 30% in reward money. 4951

My husband (landscaper) found $265 on the grass like a week ago and he knew it wasent there when they got to the place cause they had cut the grass already so he remembered he had seen a lady that lived next door passed by there earlier . So he did gave it back cause he knew it had to be hers and besides when he knocked the lady said tell me u found my lost money and my husband said yes . She said its $265 right? And sure enough it was . He might had keeped it if he didnt know whos it was! 4951

@squirtismyboy: That was the question on the Rod Ryan Show;  how much percentage would you give as a reward if someone turned it in.  I think I'd do 20%.  Thing is, the person bringing it back to you didn't have to, and you really don't have to give a reward.  Maybe karma might be involved either way.

I'm a firm believer in the finders keepers losers weepers motto

@mm4731: Until you're the losers weeper of the deal.  Sometimes you'd like to think people are actually good sometimes.
