I am as worried and upset as any other American about whats going on and how Americans are treated by the rest of the world BUT, for all of you sitting in your comfy chairs watching all this happen on your 50" or larger flat screen tv and screaming for the U.S. to get into ANOTHER WAR, tell me and everyone else reading this are YOU ready to put YOURSELF or your Loved One or YOUR CHILD on the front lines? I currently have a son-in-law in Afghanistan and am worried sick. I try to stay really calm in front of my daughter but want to cry when i see my grandson and think how it is possible he may not see his father for a long, long, time or maybe not again. Its funny how everyone wants the USA to go over there and "kick their **** and teach them a lesson" but when i ask if they would be willing to send their loved one or son or daughter over there to fight they look at me like "not my child"!
@southern belle:
You didn't put your son in law there. Sorry you are so worried sick. I'm sure all parents are worried sick. I don't want war but the reason we have a military is to defend our country. So far, it's on a volunteer basis. I hope it stays that way. 4951
