Is there anyone out there trying to sell a house? Seems like its got slow around here in kingwood,guess cause school is about to start...... 4951

our house has been on the market since the 2nd week in June, we have had 10 showings & will have the 11th showing this Thursday . Everyone that has been thru our home says it is priced right , a beautiful home , well cared for , they just do not want to be next door to all the construction going on .
 
We have a new street being poured & about 22 new homes that will be going up , so for the next year it will be all construction . There is lots of activity going on in real estate if your house is priced right & the right person falls in love with your home & can afford to buy it .
 
It's all about being patient for that person to come along ..... 4951

Same here around same time we listed ours. Had about more then 20 showing, which is great very happy about. We are priced very good. That's not been a problem no bad reviews at all. Had a showing maybe a week ago. Just wanted to see if anyone else is selling and how its going. Good luck to you... Hope we both get something soon lol 4951

We have had 2 houses on our street sell in the last month.  I was really surprised at one of them, because it is on the thru section of the street.    There is one for sale now and I think it is over priced, and it is on the busy section of street.  And it is still up.  Lots for sale in Fosters Mill that aren't moving either.  I have been looking, but I don't have to move so I am being really choosy.   The economy is down, and it is just hard right now to sell anything.All you can do is make sure the clutter is out, the counters are clean, and prayEmoticon

I clean every night before I go to bed ( just in case an early bird wants a showing ) & I clean again in the morning after I make our bed ( just in case I missed something last night)
Iam so tired of cleaning that when the house comes off the market Iam going to put a sign in the front yard

 @KingwoodMom06@WjoI think the thing that everyone could be overlooking ( sellers) is the ability of folks to qualify for your or anyone else who has a house on the market. Just sayin' 4951

You can tell your realtor that you need 24 hours notice to show. They will include this in the listing. It's easier to sell if you don't burn yourself out in the beginning. People will understand especially if you have children. 4951

The right realtor can make all the difference in the world.  I have moved a lot, and have dealt with some who couldn't give a hoot if they sold your house, some that are inept, and some that could sell an ice cube to an Eskimo.  Get someone aggressive to get the job done! 4951

all our children are grown & have homes of their own , so it's just hubby & I & 3 poodles , but trust me even trying to keep a 3,000 sq.ft. house totally clean & ready is impossible  on a daily basis. I have laundry to do , floors to clean , windows to wash , yard to mow , car to wash , dogs to feed & clean up after ....it just never ends & anyone that has a home knows what Iam saying is true ...it's always something unexpected that comes up to throw you out of sink . At least at our house that's the normal .
 
As for our realtor anyone that comes to see our house has to be "pre-approved" 1st , if they can not afford to buy our home they do not get to "look" . That's one thing we asked them to do before we signed the contract & we only signed a 4 month contract not a 6 month contract. So we are not tied into a realtor that does not do his or her job . 4951
