Two were uncovered in the deep jungle by a road crew clearing a path for a new road. One was accidentally killed by a dozer, the other escaped. This one was 55 feet. 4951

If that snake is 55ft, that must be the world's largest excavator bucket holding it up. 4951

@EJohn54: I was not there so i didn't measure it.While one snake, which was reported to be 55-feet long and weigh approximately 300kg, became a casualty of the bulldozers digging, another one, described as a gold boa, appeared supposedly bearing its fangs, causing the workers to flee in terror.

@FoFa:
Hmmmm it would make a lot of snake soup for a lot of workers!   Pythons are delicious - or am told - and they are non-poisonous. 4951
