How about we enter a float into the July 4th parade to advertise Kingwood.Com?All your regulars, and their pets of course, could join in if they so desire. Just an idea! 4951

an appropriate float would be to have a small gate open on the float while all the KDC fems run around the float in their nightgounds  chasing loos dogs and cats around the float, meanwhile the men can sit on lawn chairs on the other side of the float looking at the Enquirer, Popular Science, and old Playboy magazines.....  4951

Floats really usually only consist of someone's pickup truck decorated in some garland & a sign. Not much to them most of the time. 4951

@Heathur: if they are Mardi Gras floats, then they require a lot more than that....take it from someone who has worked on them before...... 4951

@mardigrasman: I think the only difference is, on that the Mardi Gras floats, the vimen are prohibited from wearing any shirts and bras.

@mardigrasman: I did one before and we used one of those trailer wagon things and decorated that and attached it to a truck.

@hgmag: yes you can do those, but if you need more room for more people and places to put your throws, you would need something larger like the single/double decker types, using wood/ paper machie' method ( I guess i am just spoiled from what i used to be involved with back in New Orleans) 4951

I went to the kingwood mardi gras & Galveston mardi grad and BOTH had a good amount of trucks just decorated with stuff from party city & signs. Participating in the parade would be a GREAT way to advertise for KDC considering the parade is in kingwood & do many people attend. 4951
