Just thought I would share how DH & I's anniversary went last night since so many people here helped us decide on where to dine, what bar to visit, & answered art museum questions. To start off, the art museum was incredible. Lots of Monets on display along with Picasso's, a Rembrandt exhibit, Frida, a Warhol... do many stunning pieces. Admission was only $10 & got us into both of the 3 story buildings. Well worth the money. Parking was free.           One of my shoes got a hole in it at the art museum so afterwards we had to make a detour stop to get me a new pair of shoes. On our way out we stumbled upon the coolest sculpture junkyard! Pretty sure we weren't supposed to be there but it was a very cool place.        (yes, that is my hubby inside of the sculpture bust, lol)Spaghetti warehouse was delicious! Cannot wait to take DD there. Very cool place & the service was great. Prices were not at all what we expected. VERY reasonable & parking was also free.   Thank you SO much to everyone that suggested Pete's Dueling Piano Bar! It was a great time! $2 shots, very laid back atmosphere, the servers & other patrons were all really nice, the music was great, they played all our requests, & the musicians are SO talented!! They are all incredible singers, pianists, drummers, the chick can tear up on the harmonica, & one of the guys can shred on the guitar. The dress code was very mixed so no matter what you wore you didn't feel out of place. People in shirts & ties or fancy dresses to people in shorts & flip flops. There was also a good mixture of ages as well. People in their early 20's- 60's. Cover charge was just $8 & parking at the garage was only $5. Everyone's welcome & it really is a good time for all. It was a great night. Â
@kingwooddotcom I did edit the size of these to 320 x 240. I guess photobucket is taking a while to size them down, but they should be significantly smaller before long. 4951
