Hello. I am not a gym person but I want to start working out. I really don't want to hit 300 lbs. Emoticon and I am looking for some good cardio workouts on dvd. Please don't think I can do insanity workouts or any of that because I am pretty fat. In all seriousness though, any suggestions? 4951

I love cardio kickboxing, and you can kind of do it at your own ability level. There is a Biggest Loser Kick Boxing DVD that came out a couple years ago that is great -- one of my absolute favorite workouts. It's a great stress reliever too. Jillian Michael's 30-day Shred is good and the Brazilian Butt Lift workout is AWESOME. It's great core focus and really fun, but probably not great for a beginner. 4951

I love the Biggest Loser DVDs but I don't have the kickboxing one. I like Dance workouts but some get too complicated. I heard the Jillian Michael's shred is crazy hard. I guess I won't know until I try. Thanks! 4951

You can get a good , easy work out every morning on TV for free , it's a 1/2 hour of easy things to get you started . Since you say you are "really fat " you do not want to go at it too fast & hard...ease into it ....check out your program menu & see what time & channel you have morning work outs , I do one at 6 :30 am every morning for 1/2 hour ...& best of all it's free ...when you get to where you are doing it at a good pace & it's easy it's time to go to the next level & join a gym. Check with your doctor before you start any excersize program . 4951

I got on calorie counter.com and love it! I also went to the Goodwill today in Atascocita and found a Yoga for Beginners and a Tae Bo dvd. I am really excited to start living a healthier lifestyle. I am most excited about the yoga. Thanks for all the suggestions! 4951

P90x , if you get too tired you could just stop that set and wait for the people on the TV to be done, that way you can slowly push yourself more and more each time. My aunt did it and it worked wonders for her, and she was over 300lbs and now she is like 140lbs and still going.  4951
