What a coincidence....   I heard one of my husbands friends telling him that they had to give there dog away.. All they wanted was a good home for him...  He mentioned that the guy who came and picked him up was a black gay man...  I said OMG that is that dog flipper !!!!!   I said you are such an idiot you should never rehome a dog for free !!!!!     Yes, this guy is making a good living at this I bet !!!! 4951
When I found out that this man had sold my dog on Craigslist I contacted BARC, Humane Society and SPCA to ask that they "check out" his shelter which is a HELL HOLE!!!!! Nobody at these agencies could be bothered. They said that he had the right to run a shelter. NOt regulated. Anyone can. Never will I give a PENNY to any of these agencies; they have their own agenda obviously. I did get my chihuahua back but I was deligent and would have TRACKED this sorry human being to the ends of the earth. If you have to place a pet in a "Forever HOme" have them sign a contract stating that if they cannot keep the pet that they have to contact you and return the pet. This is the advice that I received from the Police Department. I furnished them with photo and his other contacts. Also, if you give a pet away and the person takes it under FALSE pretenses then you can legally go after them. It is called "fraud with intent to commit fraud". This was the case a few years back with a lady in The Woodlands who gave away to Forever Home a pet and the person immediately sold it. She won her case, got her dog back and received damages. This sorry human being also has other people working for him. Also, ask to see a drivers license and check out the address; google the phone number (I did that and nothing came up; guess he had changed numbers or something). Don't prejudge people trying to place a pet in a Forever Home as there are many upcoming situations that can cause this to happen. If you do have to place a pet, ask a minimal fee and have a contract and check out references. My chihuahua "Zydi" still has problems from being in his care. GOD help him if he ever crosses my path! "Zydi" was one of the lucky ones as there were many people on the various boards helping to track her. God bless all of them. When I received the call from a lady at 10:30 that night telling me that a lady had contacted her stating that she thought she had "Zydi". It was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4951
