Unlimited data plans on new 4G's. Looks like spring and maybe T-mobile will be the only company's left with unlimited date. Better make sure those posts and facebook updates are worth it.http://www.idownloadblog.com/2012/05/16/verizon-ending-unlimited/ 4951

Actually, it's kind of disheartening because it means they cannot keep up with the demands of their customers, so they are trying to cut back on the usage. I've said many times that you must use the service that is best for you. Personally I love Sprint and wouldn't have anyone else, but some customers are in areas that only receive Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc. and need that particular carrier. Sprint made a very smart decision many years ago and bought a lot of spectrum. We bought large chunks of radio frequencies that allow us to handle larger amounts of traffic than anyone else. I like that we have abilities that others don't, and one day we will reach larger amounts of people. But, for now, it sucks for those that need a lot of data on their phone and are locked into Verizon due to contracts or employment requirements. Also, to tag what Dr Bruce said, Wifi is a great option to not only save data usage but also to save your battery. I keep my Wifi turned on because I have available networks at home, work, church and many places that I frequently visit. My battery life was improved tremendously. 4951

I've had sprint for 9 years & love it. Had Verizon before that and the service was terrible & there were hidden fees out the butt. Planning on staying with sprint for as long as they have unlimited data. 4951

I just renewed with Verizon and got a New 4G phone, and I got to keep my unlimited data plan.If you mostly stay in the big city, almost any plan will work for you. It's when you get outside the city or travel things go crazy. And as my daughter and son-in-law who are on AT&T have learned, we can be sitting side by side and one of us will have service, the other will not. Depends on the antenna placement. When I was on a deer lease out in the middle of nowhere, only verizon and sprint got service out there. And it wasn't 3G either, but it beat NO G Emoticon 4951

We were also able to keep our unlimited data plan with verizon. If we ever change our plan we will loose this offer. 4951
