A new, noodle.Can't have pasta now because of the diabetes thing, here are the nutrients from a generic pasta: 4951

Now when I was at the asian market I ran across these. Cheaper than those tofu noodles and hardly any bad stuff. 4951

ewwhat about rice noodles or corn noodles, can you have those?  I like DeBoles Rice Noodles, you can't tell the difference 4951

Yes, if you read that a 12 ounce container has 11 servings (they lie I ate the whole thing) and 5 calories, yes, that is correct, FIVE calories per serving.The whole 12 Oz. package has 55 calories.But it gets better.The WHOLE package has only 11 carbs. But it also has 11 grams of fiber.Downside, well they do have a slight odd smell, until you rinse them off.They also have a slight crunch (they are vegetable after all).They also have no flavor.They are nothing like regular pasta.But that does not mean they are not useful.I rinsed them off, cut them some (they are a tangled mess, guess that is why they are called Sea Tangles.)Added them to a skillet and stir fried them a little, than dumped a can of hot no bean chili on top, heated it all through and ate it.It was like a 550 calorie dinner that filled me up completely. 4951
