Hey everyone I fostered Tobias who has now found a loving home with a wonderful family. It was VERY bitter sweet. I'm now preparing myself for another foster dog, I'll be ready in June, as I'm going to Alaska and don't want to have to kennel a dog. If you know of any dogs that need a good foster home let me know and be on the look out. Thanks! Hayley 4951
I wondered where you have been! I will certainly miss his smiling face! Such a wonderful dog, did someone from the dog park take him? It would be nice to be able to see him! 4951
So great to hear - good job!  You're gonna love Alaska. I flew into Anchorage and rented a car when I went years ago. Have a wonderful time, the glaciers are breathtaking. 4951
I know!! I've been thinking about you ladies, I was going to come by and just let you know that he did get adopted. A young family from Pearland found him and knew that like me, they just had to have him. I'm still a little sad because as you all know, he really was THE BEST DOG (always wearing a smile)! I'm very excited about Alaska we're going white water rafting, something I've always wanted to do. I've linked a picture of Tobias relaxing at his new home. s1068.photobucket.co m/albums/u451/Hayley RaeJ/?action=view&am p;amp;current=T 4951
Aw, that's a great picture. I hope you get to see him some day - he'll never forget you!I did the white water rafting thing - took the tamer route but it was enough excitement for this chicken, lol.   4951
That picture definitely captures him! I will miss him bouncing around! I am sure you will enjoy your Alaska vacation-it is nice to take a little break in between fostering. Gives you time to rest up for the next one!   4951
Can I let you know if we don't find this boxer's owner? She's a great dog, but not positive we could keep her (forever at least) if we don't find her owner. 4951
Sure hope you can find her owner. Â She looks like someone has taken very good care of her but i'm sure after a few days, it will be hard for you to give her up. 4951
Congrats!!This female sable german shepherd needs a foster home so we can save her! BUT we have to catch her first. She is in 5th ward wandering around. She's been sighted and a feeding station has been set up, but she is nowhere to be found when people try and look for her...so it might take until June until we get her! I've been out looking for her but to no avail. The lady that notified me about her spotted her again today. 4951
@xjamiex:Where is she seeing her??? What streets, and such....I have no actual clue where 5th Ward is....I will drive around and look if I can, but I don't know where to look.  4951
pharlap, I'll PM you the area in a bit.Haybugg, totally agree..I felt really out of place and uncomfortable when I was there. Lots of people hanging out outside and in groups and staring me down, lots of outside dogs, chained dogs, and dogs wandering around,. Sigh. 4951
