I am considering switching to homemade products. Like vinegar and water. Baking soda. Etc.

Anybody else do this? 4951

...way to support the economy.   You need to wast money and destroy the environment like the rest of us.    ...think about the kids.   What's going to happen to them if they live in a clean Earth?    Cmon, lets go blow something up!   ...like an oil tanker.   ...or a Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. 4951

@mm4731:   Where do you get it?    How does it do on aluminum?   Does it mention anything about aluminum?

$100 for a dispenser sounds pretty expensive.   Is that actually required?   I'll tilt the bottle. LOL 4951

I tried using vinegar/water for floors. I wasn't impressed....just didn't feel clean to me. The smell eventually goes away but ugh, this is what happens when you get use to chemicals, they just work well and getting use to something else is a process. Emoticon 4951

I use Ecover- It's an ecological concentrated all purpose cleaner for my kitchen floors. And I just steam clean my wood floors.
I can use the Ecover for anything really. I buy it at Whole Foods.
Just interested in the make at home alternatives. 4951

@TheTruthHurts: I did the same. Wasn't impressed & it definitely didn't seem clean. THEN I bought my steam mop. No chemicals, just distilled water & the steam sanitizes the floor SUPER clean! Love my steam mop. Emoticon
