This is the second time we've been and it is one bad *** place to see a band. The food is first class. When my hubby first mentioned going I figured BBQ or burgers. And they have a Kobe burger. For some concerts the dinner is included and you get a choice a three different meals. For others bands they they have a cover charge and a full menu. Last nights special was roasted pork tenderloin stuffed with a lump crab dressing, roasted potatoes and grilled veggies. Hubby had this one. I had chicken fried steak. White truffle sented mashed potatoes and fresh corn sucatash, so good. They roast their own coffee and it is great. Full bar. The venue is super personal and the acoustics are amazing. The only problem that I see with the barn , is well it is a barn. So there are several large support beams that can get in the way of the small stage. But man that is all forgotten when the music starts. The place is immaculately clean and the wait staff are attentive. All that being said I would have sat in a bathroom stall to hear Carolyn sing last night. She played several different instruments. Her bands is great. Good god this chick can sing. She played the trumpet on a Los lobos song that she sang in Spanish. I had chill bumps half the night. Sorry you asked what I thought of the night? I know it's a little lengthy but I had the best time. Last night there was a $18 cover charge. My dinner was $13 and I think my hubby's special was $13 as well. 4951
It is after a few drinks. Let me try again... My husband and I attended a concert at The Dosey Doe. Carolyn Wonderland headlined and she was amazing. Better? 4951
