Have you ever had any mishaps with typing on your phone or computer? You know how it sometimes changes what you actually typed or misspelled? I just asked someone on Etsy a question, and ended with "Thank you so much" ... only it changed it to "Thank you smooch." 😱 OR have you ever just had your phone text someone without you having anything to do with it?
How about you? What's your story?

Voice dictate does Not play well with my Southern accent! I texted my good friend the other day, to ask where she wanted me to park, as I got to her home, so I would not block in her husband, leaving for work. The message came out "where should I fart?". A word I do not like, and Never use. So, she wrote me back and said "..have you been Hacked?!". we laughed about it all morning!
My voice dictate keeps just turning itself on then then repeating 5 minutes of Michael Berry's show thats on the radio into a text message lol lol

Not me but the boys at work were doing stupid boy **** and one who is oldest …and should know better…sent a group chat a picture of a Torta (sandwich) he set to his non boy group chat which had me on it. I had no idea Torta is a derogative slang term to describe certain women. I thought he was sending a picture of his lunch. His guy pals narc'd him out he was so embarrassed. As he should. The term of the day for this…Dumb a s s

Not me. But I have a work experience from my boss.
My boss was going on an extended vacation. His out of office message was supposed to be, "I will be out on PTO from DATE1 for 2 weeks and not available". I don't remember the original date, but it was about 20 years ago. So, the new version of email had this new-fangled thing called 'spell check'. What his OOF message after spell checked ended up being was, "I will be out on POT from DATE1 for 2 weeks and not available."
When my boss got back, I told him "That must be some seriously good ****, I want what your smokin'!"
Two choices - proofread every message before sending or turn autocorrect off. Proofreading every message is probably essential for me even with autocorrect off. 😢
I always proof read, And, I love the 'edit' feature, after a text is sent, too! Also, when you fully delete a text, it comes up with this little explosion and shreds, and it is so satisfying.
