Done with Facebook This is one of many reasons I'm DONE with Facebook. I recently listed a rare piece of James Avery on Facebook marketplace. I have it priced at $1250.00. It's 14k gold and it goes for $1500+ on Ebay all the time. This guy messaged me & asked if I would "consider $100.00?" So I messaged him back to clarify what he meant - $100 off? Or $100 total? I assumed he meant $100 off but he wasn't clear. THIS was his response to me yesterday. 🤬 I hate people.

StormChaser : Oh girl...! I swore off selling until my DD had some things she wanted to get rid of so I offered to try on FB marketplace. My first line in the listings was : FRONT PORCH PICK UP ONLY IN KINGWOOD. I was asked more than once..."where located?" Then there are the ones who ask if it is still availabale and I reply yes....silence! I sold a baby/dog gate for her and naturally listed the dimensions and you guessed it...someone asked the dimensions! So glad I am done with that! Stupid and rude people! Sorry that this happened to you friend!

StormChaser : Maybe the guy is clueless what the price of gold is. It has never been this high before. But still he was so very rude. And I don't think I would ever go get a drink with him 😂😂😂
StormChaser : Ugh. Trolls. You would be better off doing an auction on eBay, or selling it at gold value. I start my auctions low, do not do do 'buy it now' or anything else. If you are not getting the price you want the day before your sale is to end, you can remove it. Just hit "end auction" and answer the questions as to why you want to end the auction. very easy. If you start very low, you will see activity and a lot of watchers and bidders; creating a buzz. You can do a 5 day or 7 day auction and designate "No Offers", which is Great, because no one can contact you.
