Vehicle Recovered and Arrest Made After Kingwood Garage Theft A vehicle reportedly stolen from a Kingwood garage near Woodbridge Drive has been recovered, according to the family. The car was taken around 5:20 PM on Friday, July 24th. The family later shared that the suspect was found and arrested a few hours after the vehicle was taken. The incident is a reminder for residents to make sure garage doors are fully closed and secured, especially during the evening hours. Even a short period of access can create an opportunity for theft. Residents are encouraged to double-check garage doors, lock vehicles, avoid leaving keys inside or near vehicles, and report suspicious activity to local law enforcement.

txmusil : Thank you for the serious reminder to keep the garage door closed. Leaving it partially open with the door to the house locked helps with heat in the garage but it's not worth the possibility of having a car stolen. Although we do not lock vehicles in the garage, we never leave keys or valuables in the car, even in the garage.
