Is there an oil change place, that isn't stupid expensive

Walmart in Porter

Walmart is good, Valvoline always has online coupons, and they are quick; go early. It isn't a 'cheap' job any longer. I got mine done at Sun Auto, down on Northpark, by Quick Quack. Made an appointment online and saved, and then there were other coupons, too. I was there last Tuesday at 10 am, and done by 10:30; just enough time to have a cafe au lait from their Starbucks machine. Comfortable, a/c, spot to sit inside, good wifi

Jiffy Lube WLH has good service, waiting area in A/C, reasonable time and pricing. They also often check my tire pressure and air them up gratis (Know how the tire warning comes on every time it gets cooler or air pressure changes? Annoying, isn't it? They'll check and reset the alert thing.)

Same with Sun Auto; made an online appt, which got me a 15% discount, to begin with. On weekdays, they are not that busy before noon. I was actually going to chat with my sister Much longer, and they were done in no time. They look over everything re my car care, and do Not upsell me. This time, he mentioned one procedure, but suggested I wait until the next oil change, as levels were good, at this time, re that item. I look like a cupcake, but I am a serious Gearhead, but they do not know that. They don't pull the 'she won't know' trying to talk me into stuff I do Not need.

Dont use walmart or valvoline
They will strip out your oil pan nut. I do my own oil and it takes me around a half hour. Pull truck up on some stands and let engine idle for 5 minutes. open fill cap. Go under and undo the oil pan bolt. Let oil drain . Put nut back on, add oil to filler neck, check levels. Wipe old oil . Clean up. Start truck and drive it around for 5 minutes. Recheck levels.
