they are required to have a state-issued golf cart license plate, to be allowed on roads in Harris County. The speed limit for golf carts is 35 mph, and it must be fitted with a published list of safety features, To be street legal. They must follow all traffic rules, ie, stop signs, stop lights, etc. Maybe they were not compliant with all of these. They can be issued a ticket.

#msg5937836Annie : A bit dangerous. Golf cart versus a vehicle is a loss.

#msg5937839Kittle : I figured a ton of danger. Right at WLHP and 1960 is where I saw it and was surprised it was able to travel at the speed of traffic.

then , it was speeding, re golf cart rules, so they probably got a ticket. These stops are to keep cart riders safe.
