MissAmericanPie : I meant to mention that here this morning - on my run I could smell a gas leak when I was running by the Fosters Mill Pond, and then when I cut through Sand Creek I saw the firetrucks at the intersection there.

PickMe : I believe they add mercaptans to give the telltale smell to notify anyone of a gas leak - H2S kills people, so it is not added into natural gas. 
buffaloglenn : Yeah it must be a big one bc you can't use Highland Laurels unless your home is actually there, I had to detour all around. Hopefully they can fix it fast but it looked major.
I'm wondering if it had anything to do with that major road construction right in the same place?! Hmm the powers that be say yes! Lol

MissAmericanPie : I went that way, too, this morning. The worker directing traffic said they hit a gas line. I would be so mad if they were digging trenches in my yard like that.
muffy : I'm trying to remember exactly where they were digging and it looked like sidewalk and street but there has been major work being done right there so likely they hit a line.
