Taqueria Vicky. Found a new spot for good tacos! Located just past the focaccia bread place; you turn onto this street and into the lot right after that place. Large, clean, lots of comfortable seating in two different areas. The best homemade tortilla I have had in a while and my egg and bean breakfast burrito was so delicious, hot and freshly made. I am not a fan of hot things, but if you are that green salsa is quite spicy, and it comes with your tacos. Plenty of easy parking. I'm looking forward to going back to trying more of their menu items, like the quesobirria tacos! 21925 Savelle Road, just off 59s feeder, close to K'hood.

LittleTexas : Looks like a nice place to dine outdoors when the weather is good.
LittleTexas : I tend to shy away from food trucks but that does look delicious. I may have to give them a try. Breakfast tacos sound good this morning.

Kittle : I am not always a fan, either. this place is very clean, comfortable seating, and nice people working there, so I gave it a try,and I am glad I did! We could have a breakfast meet up; they have plenty of room for us; 2 nice seating area. quiet spot to sit and relax
cbear LittleTexas : Has anyone else beside me play the Taqueria game on 1314 or Ford Rd by counting all the food trucks. Too many to count! We always say we are going to stop at the big food lot on 1314 but haven't yet and I am sure their food is delicious.
We tried to go to the food truck scene when it was in town center. The parking was awful, the lines were long, then the wait for food and stand to eat for $20 a pop. Can not stand that long so we went to Texas Roadhouse to be waited on. Just my experience but I am sure there was some great food.
Gammyof2 : I lived overseas where tortillas were made fresh all day long, so I am a tortilla 'snob', and these are tender, home made, and sooo good!
luannski : I can make them at home, too, but the freshly made tortillas led me here, and I'm glad they did. Game changer!
Smoothwaters : Yes, I drive by slowly, and have even parked and walked around in the large 'parks' of them, but I am never sure what/where I want to eat. Some of the ones in parking lots/roadsides, aren't open often, and I worry about fresh ingredients. My stomach does Not play well with others, if food handling is iffy :0 I have a work friend who had been to Vicki's, and enjoyed it. I found it very clean, spoke with the owner and met his sweet wife, as well, who does the cooking. They have a lot of pride in the spot, and it shows. I was going to a friend's cousin's spot in Humble for breakfast tacos, a brick and mortar shop. Nice, clean spot, great people, but the last 2 times I went, someone cooking had a Very heavy hand with salt and some big pepper flakes, and I did not care for that. Ordered it Without either, in both languages, and they Still put a lot in my tacos, so I have been looking for a new spot. Vicki's is also closer, which is nice.

Smoothwaters : I have seen it when leaving Home Depot but.... nothing was going on at the time. Maybe it is just a weekend thing? IDK. « Back to Chat
