Kings Manor, Mills & beyond, no power. Bright flashes in the north towards Northpark but looks like Porter has power (from the glow. IYKYK!)

According to the text from Entergy just now, crews are out, an hour+ later, to figure it out!

Guess I'm going to bed!

PS very limited cell service . So THAT'S NOT BEEN FIXED BY THE CELL COMPANIES since Beryl! Idiots! Thank you to Tachus for handling your business!

There seems to have been several power outages recently on good weather days/night. Random transformers blowing etc. I hope this is not a trend. I wonder what could be causing it.

I mean I understand it more on bad weather days or nights (wind, storms etc). But it's hard to understand it happening frequently on optimal weather days/nights.

Weathergirl5 : I'm hoping it means they are doing any repairs necessary before hurricane season (which starts in 102 days)

StormChaser :
Yes that would be good, but I don't see them doing scheduled repairs in the middle of the night, but maybe!

CelticStorm : tech has already sold out to another company. They don't give a rats ***, and neither does the new company.

I only remember the power going out unexpectedly once in King's Manor since I moved here 18 months ago. The last time it was when someone hit a poll by the big Kroger. One other time it was short and planned, not like when I had Center Point.

I was confused when it went out last night because I have light bulbs like this
a.co/d/0icVpjer
It took me a minute to remember. I. about to go check breakers.
