Road conditions in Kingwood and Humble?
Road conditions in Kingwood and Humble? Has anyone been to Humble and seen how Highway 59 is? Is there ice on the San Jacinto River bridge on Hwy 59? What about ice on the West Lake Houston bridge to Atascocita? Is Kingwood Drive and NorthPark Drive completely passable? People are driving a little in my neighborhood in North Woodland Hills. Roads look pretty dry and ice-free.

smokey545 : All good questions that I'm sorry I don't have the answers to. I've also seen people driving out of my neighborhood this morning, so I guess the roads are ok in KW so far. I'm not planning on going out anywhere, but if you do, please stay safe.

smokey545 : Kingwood drive and Northpark are fine . Quite a few cars out when I was running earlier this morning and the current temperature is 38, well above freezing. 
smokey545 : Hello! Went out this morning at 10:30. Drove someone to work at Deerbrook Mall, went to HEB on 59 and Northpark. No problems. Very few drivers, shoppers, etc.
JamminTX : Jnet : Thanks for all the helpful replies. Looks like we escaped the worst of the ice. My family in Temple, Texas and Pennsylvania are getting lots of snow and ice. We got lucky (Except for the extreme cold on Monday.)
can we reopen the schools tomorrow?
