Please consider speaking up on this. There is a proposed development being reviewed on land that many locals know floods regularly. Building in low-lying, swampy areas doesn't just affect the new project - it increases flooding risk downstream and puts added strain on already stressed infrastructure. What's especially concerning is that the drainage study for this proposal reportedly hasn't been made public.
Transparency matters when flood risk, public safety, and neighborhood impacts are involved.
The more residents who speak up, the harder it is for these concerns to be ignored. Public Comments

I wrote an email voicing concerns, you should see the shoddy houses this developer has built in Florida. No bueno!!
Leave it up to developers, they specialize in crap that's bad for everyone except their pocket book. The way these developments affect everyone around then does not seem to matter, as in Perry Homes and Elm Grove.
We just need better regulations to stop this early on.
First, I do not see how that area would even attract people to a hotel. Is it suppose to be a resort? On stilts, each room comes with a boat? Either way bad idea.

Why do local issues warrant a fast lane!?!
I got the posts approved to ungrey box. No harm done cept for Ruger's one post as usual. 😘

much of the land is swamp land and in the flood plain. Thus no bringing in dirt to fill nor raise the land. They will have to build on stilts. and road entrance will be a big roblem as dirt an gravel and concrete are needed to raise land in flood lain so again a NO NO NO. YOU MAY NOT RISE PROPERTY TO ALLOW NEXT LOTS TO FLOOD.
