Northpark construction.. I moved away like 4 yrs ago I just came

Oh there has been a lot of progress made.

The Northpark overpass is the end goal. They had to redo all drainage. Yes it has been painful but hopefully will be worth it in a few years.

Cprince999 : Utility and RR issues have delayed the construction. They are still waiting on the RR to move their signal so the construction of the access roads and the overpass can start. The UPRR is worse than dealing with the government when it comes to getting something done.

I heard they stopped construction multiple times to delay the completion to shut down all local/small businesses.

So much progress has been made. There was drainage culverts put where the median used to be. The road has shifted dozens of times into countless configurations from Woodridge Forest to the west side of the 59 feeder road.

It will be finished on the 12th … of Never! That is sadly, the way construction goes all over the state of Texas.

Exactly! I have never in my whole life seen such snail paced construction.

It really is sad - there are several businesses up there I'd frequent if it weren't such a pain to get there and home again. I already had a very expensive flat tire last time I went to Warren's. I still haven't been to that cute little bakery; hope the owner hangs in there!

Galaxy100 : I-45 and SH 290 set my expectations very low. At this point I expect an expansion project to be announced in 2027.
