That's the kind of protest I like!

I was thinking the same thing! Great job volunteers!!!

UptownGirl : Yes - Flickinger has been the primary councilman behind the program, and was there today as usual.

justanirishgirl : Me too!!!

So very glad that they are doing this in January. It is far easier to get volunteers to help when it is not so hot. Furthermore, staying ready for Hurricane season!! Thanks to all who helped.

We passed them twice this morning. They were working hard, on both sides of KWD, and making great progress. Looked like a community service group of mostly teens with adult sponsors. They had help from local police in blocking the lanes for safely and another adult driving what looked like an Zamboni-style street cleaner or something similar.

buffaloglenn : YAY!!!

Great way to work off some of the holiday pounds too.

BobRehak :
That's Wonderful, it really has made a difference on the areas previously done! Bless all these Volunteers!🙏

BobRehak :
So proud of these folks!!! Thank you to each and every one of you🫶🏻

donnatella : Was there a visible difference? I noticed them clearing the median on NP and it was quite noticeable. Thankful that this is being done before Hurricane season.

Shout out to all the wonderful volunteers that came out to do this for KW and it is definitely nice to see. Wonder if this could be done with HS kids for extra credit or test grade just some sort of incentive. Between the 2 HS they should be able to knock out a lot and if we have Eagle Scouts too. I am sure some local store would donate bags and supplies.
